We've decided that this sunday is Dolly Parton day!
So bouffant your hair, put on your sparkles and get dancing to 9-5.
We look back at River Phoenix the iconic actor and talented musician who's roles in films, Stand By Me, Running on Empty and My Own Private Idaho cemented his status as one of Hollywood's up and coming young actors.
Shot mostly in the fall and winter months, 1970's classic Love Story is a tragic romance set against of the sophisticated backdrop of the Ivy League.
Ali MacGraw became an instant style icon playing Jenny with the school girl prep looks she wore so well and continues to influence designer collections today.
We've previously admired Clare Shilland's beautifully shot photos before in publications such as Lula and Teen Vogue.
So we were happy to hear that she won the Elle Commission in the Taylor Wessing photographic portrait prize with her enchanting shot of model, Merel.
We hope you like her pictures as much as we do!

Originally from Ohio, Bevy has been residing in downtown Manhattan for last 7 years.
Working as a Nike Design Global Recruiter, as well as design recruitment for Converse & Hurley she is one busy lady. Although she manages to make time to listen to her favourite musician Bob Dylan. Oh and did we mention she's The Ramones obsessed!

Some beautiful stills taken from Hedi Slimane’s short film, ‘I Love USA’. A weirdly hypnotic film depicting Sidney an all American girl cheerleader and her cello-playing companion who wears a wolf mask.

Well there is no reason whatsoever to miss out on this museum, after all it does have everything!
This is the 3rd exhibition from the pop up museum and is curated by Sir Peter Blake who’s incredible collection of old circus posters, bizarre taxidermy, and music memorabilia make for great viewing – giving the age old idea of dusty museum’s a completely fun and new approach.
We give it double thumbs up and suggest that you plan a trip to North London very soon to see it for yourselves.
It’s made us want to start collecting things…first up we’re thinking of expanding our collection of vintage bags…

We were lucky enough to get tickets to see the sell out performance of The Venezuelan Youth Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall, who are rapidly becoming known as one of the worlds best orchestra's.
Never having been to an orchestral performance we didn't really know what to expect although the Venezuelan Orchestra are known for being that little bit different from the classic idea of an orchestra.
Incredible and met with rapturous applause. Be sure to get a ticket if ever they play near you.

We love wearing velvet in the cold months, it can be mixed with so many textures and comes in such a variety of colours. The ALICE line has some great velvet pieces including a Velvet motorcycle jacket and vest for your perfect velvet piece!
We love Rob Ryan's amazing cut out illustrations and lucky for us he has an exhibition, The Stars Shine All Day Too at the TAG Fine Art Gallery on Dover St.
We really have no idea how he manages to create such intricately cut pieces but we dream of owning one on our wall.
We already have one of his giant keys (they make great presents.)
Head to the gallery today, you never know it might inspire you to make your own paper creations!
