A digital hub for the Barbour Pantone collaboration that amplifies the collection through an incredible short film, beautiful photography and a socially powered competition.

Barbour teamed up with Pantone on a new collection for men, women and children which celebrated colours of the countryside. We were approached by the digital team at Barbour, to find an interesting way to engage with consumers and to bring to life online this colourful collection.

We created a film based around the idea of ‘releasing the colour’ from the normally toned down world of Barbour. Inspiration was drawn from the naturally occurring bright colours used for the basis of the collection, the indian festival of Holi where bright swatches of colour are thrown in the air.

The film was a complex shoot using high-end slow motion cameras but the end result is a beautiful production that exemplifies the colourful nature of the collaboration, and is brought to life using music by the band ATTU.

The microsite took a steer from the video and had the background of the page changing colour as you scroll to match the Pantone collection. To aid the competition part, we created a gallery which matched the user submitted photos to a pantone colour.

Barbour teamed up with 4 bloggers who were promoted across the site showing their favourite items in the collection, and also help assist Barbour with picking the winner.
