Waking up to a day with Barbour and one of my best friends sounded like the recipe for the best day, and it was exactly that. It couldn't have been anything but, given that the day began with a couple of chocolate twist pastries, my favourite!
Popping on the Willow Quilt from Barbour's new Dress Tartan collection, I headed off for a day of exploring the wonderful streets of Brighton with my friend, Sophie.
I teamed my Barbour Willow Quilt with a pair of black cropped jeans, brown slip-on shoes, and a Barbour Tartan Tarras Bag, giving a subtle flash of Barbour's famous dress tartan as I turned up the sleeves and collar on my jacket, which kept me snug and warm as I walked around the cobbled North Laines, peeking into my favourite vintage shops (and almost buying a pair of vintage heels along the way!)
After shopping, it was time for tea, of course! Stopping off at a very British tearoom; with vintage posters adorning the walls and classic British cakes and tray bakes, it was the perfect place to wind down after a long day of window shopping.
Finally, a walk on the seafront to end the day called for a traditional cone of chips, with my Barbour quilted jacket sealing me in and protecting me from Brighton's notorious sea breeze! A perfect way to round off a fun day with Barbour.
I can't believe how lucky I am to have spent such a lovely day, thank you Barbour!
